Infrastructure and Real Estate

We advise and support our clients during all phases of their Real Estate projects: from attaining and managing municipal permits, to establishing tax and contractual structuring to maximize value and preempt litigation.

We have actively participated in landmark infrastructure projects carried out in Ecuador, such as the concession and construction of the new international airport in Quito, engineering of the heavy crude oil pipeline (Oleoducto de Crudos Pesados – OCP) and the concession and construction of the Machala Power plant of electricity generation.

We also assist in all regulatory matters, contract negotiations, government relations, environmental matters and litigation prevention.

Diego Pérez Ordóñez has built up notable real estate expertise as part of a broader practice, which includes M&A, commercial law, foreign investment, and arbitration. The highly regarded Jorge Cevallos is also recommended, and Sandra Reed is noted for her real estate knowledge in relation to projects.
