Education: Catholic University of Ecuador (Doctor at Law, 2001); Columbia University School of Law, New York (Master of Law, 2003).

Professional Activities: Private Secretary and Chief of the Office of the Minister of Mines and Petroleum (2007);  Intern at the International Arbitration Court of the ICC, Paris (2004);  Professor of International Commercial Arbitration (2003-) and International Public Law (2008-), Catholic University of Ecuador;  Professor of International Administration of Justice (2008-), San Francisco de Quito University; Alternate Member, Board of Directors, Quito Bar Association (2008-); Secretary of the Arbitration Tribunals, Quito Chamber of Commerce and Ecuadorian-American Chamber of Commerce (2003-).
