Professional Activities: Assistant Professor of Legal Provisions on , Foreign Investment , Catholic University of Ecuador (1982); Counsel for the World Bank and the National Modernization Council (CONAM) in the preparation of reforms to the Law on Hydrocarbons and restructuring of the oil sector (1993 and 1998); Graduate professor of Hydrocarbons Law, San Francisco de Quito University( 2005-2006); Director of the Chamber of Industry of Pichincha (1993-1997, 1999-2003, 2005-).
