On January 17, 2022, the President of Ecuador issued Executive Decree No. 327 through which he reduced to zero percent (0%) the ISD rate on payments for the import of fuels derived from hydrocarbons, biofuels, and natural gas.
It also provided that the SRI, within 15 days, update all relevant resolutions and forms for the application of this new zero rate of ISD on such imports.
