David Alfredo

David specializes in dispute resolution, compliance and anti-corruption.

In dispute resolution, he has been part of legal teams in international arbitration proceedings. He has also participated in domestic arbitrations and complex administrative, civil and commercial litigation, where he has contributed to strategic defense planning and the development of key arguments. David has also worked on resolving corporate disputes, including conflicts between shareholders and disputes with company management, in various forums.

In compliance and anti-corruption, David has conducted complex internal investigations in white-collar defense cases with multijurisdictional components and international relevance. He has also participated in reputational risk assessments and due diligence processes for multilateral organizations and multinational companies, in addition to designing and implementing compliance programs aligned with national and international regulatory frameworks.

His international experience was consolidated during his time at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP (Washington D.C.), a leading litigation firm, where he focused on complex commercial and securities litigation, corporate investigations and white-collar defense cases.   

David is admitted to practice law in Ecuador and in the State of New York.
