Erik

Erik is an expert in information security management systems, personal data protection, cybersecurity management, and IT project management. Throughout his career, he has advised a wide variety of local and international companies in the financial, cooperative and service sectors on the implementation of management systems and compliance with international information security standards, as well as implementing compliance with Ecuador’s Personal Data Law.

Erik has led implementations of international standards regarding privacy programs, information security management systems, and cybersecurity frameworks. He has developed system audits for impact assessments, risk analysis, and the definition of action plans through cybersecurity, legal, corporate, and organizational measures. Erik has also managed cybersecurity incidents, personal data privacy, and data subject access requests. He has handled requests from regulatory authorities and developed personal data protection and information security training plans, among other things.
