Personal Data Protection
Patricio is part of our Personal Data Protection team.
Patricio is an expert in cybersecurity, personal data protection and information security. Throughout his career, he has advised a number of local and international companies in the finance, construction and industrial sectors on the implementation of, and compliance with, the personal data protection laws of Ecuador, Spain and Panama. He has also advised on the implementation of international standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27005 and information technology frameworks like COBIT and ITIL.
Patricio has led the planning and execution of audits of data privacy programs, information security, business continuity and technology risk management. He has also worked with supervisory and control authorities to ensure compliance with the standards and regulations that govern different sectors.
