Pérez Bustamante & Ponce-PBP has named four new partners in three practice areas: Carmen Simone (Tax); Edgar Ulloa (Dispute Resolution); Javier Salvador (Labor) and Juan Francisco Carrasco (Tax).  For clients of PBP, these areas of service with an industrial focus are key to conducting business in Ecuador. ● Carmen Simone
Carmen joined PBP six years ago after an important career in the public sector, including roles as Vice Minister of Human Rights, Judge of the Third Chamber of the District Tax Court of Quito and Reporting Secretary of the Tax Chamber – Supreme Court of Justice. She has in-depth knowledge of the tax and commercial system, specializing in the food and beverage industry and the auto sector, and she is an expert in administrative and court proceedings in tax and customs matters.
Carmen advises on structuring corporate transactions, investment protection and making the most of tax incentives for public-private partnerships and new investments.

● Edgar Ulloa

Edgar began his career as an attorney at PBP 13 years ago and is known for his commitment and excellence in handling complex matters.
