Camila

Camila concentrates her practice on personal data protection, advising domestic and multinational companies in a range of industries on the application of regulations and compliance with data protection obligations.

She has previously worked as a specialist at the Superintendency for Personal Data Protection, the first regulator of its kind in Ecuador, where she helped to develop and apply the national regulatory framework. She has also represented Ecuador at international forums specializing in data protection and artificial intelligence.

Camila has extensive experience in training local and multinational organizations. She is secretary of the board of directors of the Ecuadorian Data Protection Association (AEPD), and a professor at the International University of Ecuador (UIDE) and SEK University where she imparts specialist training in data protection and artificial intelligence.
