Dispute Resolution
Juan Francisco is part of our Dispute Resolution team.
Juan Francisco advises and represents domestic and international clients in jurisdictional guarantees and constitutional control proceedings, particularly in disputes related to strategic industries, the financial, banking, insurance and public procurement sectors, and administrative sanction proceedings.
He is experienced in matters associated with the mining, environmental and energy sectors. This includes disputes about environmental consultations, prior consultations, environmental licensing, rights of nature, and the regulation of strategic industries and highly regulated sectors.
Juan Francisco has also prepared expert evidence and reports on Ecuadorian law presented in international arbitration proceedings, notably in disputes involving Ecuadorian public law issues.
