Margarita co-leads PBP’s Intellectual Property practice. With an extensive and diverse background of over 30 years, she has consolidated her expertise in trademarks, patents, and copyrights. Her leadership has extended to the main international IP associations.
Margarita co-leads our Intellectual Property practice. She is highly experienced in managing the trademark portfolios of local and foreign clients in Ecuador. In addition to all aspects of trademark law, Margarita also advises on regulatory issues related to food and drug technical standards, consumer protection, advertising law, franchise agreements, and other agreements related to IP commercialization. She has experience in intellectual property issues related to e-commerce.
